Joris van Ooij,
grew up in the south of the Netherlands and was brought up around music. His father was a local folk singer and Joris had the privilege to try out all old and strange instruments his father made and gathered over the years. After buying his first synthesizer, in 1984, he went more eclectic mixing folk with pop.
